Welcome to MIX, the place where the iconic La Royale Belge building has been given a new lease of life. The cross-shaped Corten steel building appears to float on the water and combines architectural beauty with perfect integration into the landscape. The thorough renovation by leading architects Bovenbouw, Caruso St John, and DDS+ was awarded the European Heritage Award / Europa Nostra Award and an honorable mention at the Brussels Architecture Prize. The building has since become a real hotspot.
Today, MIX is more than just a building: it is a destination. From a four-star hotel and studios to a spacious wellness center with swimming pools, co-working spaces, three restaurants, and versatile event spaces—you will find everything under one roof here. It is the place where work, relaxation, and gastronomy come together and where every corner invites you to explore.
Thanks to the interior design by L’Atelier Lionel Jadot and an international team of designers, the building has been given a fresh, creative look. It is a place that attracts people from all corners of the world to Bosvoorde and is a must-see for anyone who loves design, atmosphere, and innovation in a green setting.
