Booking takes place in several steps. If you choose an interior or museum visit, we first check whether your desired date is available at the museum or interior. Once this has been confirmed, we look for a guide who best suits your group. As soon as everything is finalized, you will receive a final confirmation of your activity from us. You can track the status of your booking at any time via your account.
Yes, you can. When making your reservation, you can enter the name(s) of the desired guide(s) in the "comments" window.
We do our best to respect your preference, but this depends on availability. If your preferred guide is unavailable, we will provide a guide with the same expertise.
Depending on the chosen activity, the entrance fee may or may not be included in the invoice amount from Korei Guided Tours. For each activity, we clearly communicate this on the specific activity page and on the proposal for your approval, so that you will not encounter any surprises.
For some activities, you pay the admission fee on site, so that you can benefit from personal discounts (such as Museum Pass, teacher card, youth discount, 65+ discount, etc.). For other activities, admission is included in our invoice amount.
Yes, you can. During the booking process, enter a PO number at XXX.
By describing the group, your guide can prepare specifically. That way, the story will be tailored to the group's background, previous tours, professional and cultural knowledge. The more you share in advance, the more your tour will be a unique, tailor-made experience!
Book your chosen tour at least two weeks before the desired date. This gives us enough time to find a guide and request the necessary confirmation from the location. Bookings within 10 days of the desired date are possible at an additional cost of €50.
The maximum number of people per group depends on the location. For interior visits, this must be strictly adhered to, as these limits are often imposed by the fire department or the owner of the (fragile) interior.
For walks, there is a maximum of 20 participants per group, to ensure both safety and the quality of the experience.
The number of participants allowed is listed on the page for the desired tour. Are there more participants? Then we will split the group and provide an additional guide.

For our walks, more than half of which take place outdoors, we offer a customized service: if the Royal Meteorological Institute (KMI) issues an orange alert for the Brussels-Capital Region, we will gladly reschedule the walk—at your request or proactively on Korei's initiative—at no extra cost. Together, we will choose a new time that best suits your schedule, so that your experience can always take place in the best possible conditions.
The day of the tour
The day of the tour has arrived. What can you expect?
If the group is delayed, please let us know. You will find the telephone number in the booking details.
The guide will wait for the group for 30 minutes. If you arrive at the location within that time, the tour will start. Due to the delay, the tour will be shortened, but the agreed end time will not change.
If the group is not complete at the start of the tour, the guide will consult with the group leader to decide what to do. They may choose to wait a little longer or to start the introduction anyway. Please note: the agreed end time will not be changed.
Please note that cancellation fees apply. You can find more information
about this in Article 4 of our general terms and conditions.
Yes, walks will still take place in the event of rain. Please take this into account and wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
In case of severe weather, some parks may close. If this is part of the tour, we will contact you to find a solution together. This could be, for example, a different walk on the same day and at the same time.
The Korei guides will be waiting for the group at the agreed meeting point. Please check the details in your booking confirmation carefully.
Korei guides wear a badge with their name on it.
Please contact our office. You can reach us at +32 2 380 22 09. We will contact the guide.
Agenda
Every month, we organize guided tours for which individual participants can purchase tickets. These activities are listed in the calendar on this site. Welcome!
No, that is not possible.
No problem! You can get a refund for your ticket up to 15 days before the event (an administrative fee of €6 per ticket will be deducted). Can't make it yourself? Feel free to pass your ticket on to someone else—completely free of charge, as long as the new participant meets the conditions of the activity.
We are working on a handy waiting list system! Coming soon, so you never miss an opportunity to participate again.
To respect your privacy and that of our guides, we do not share phone numbers. But don't worry: you will receive all practical information from us in good time, so that you are well prepared.
Walks
A walk takes place outside, regardless of the weather.
Our city walks last at least an hour and a half. Want to see more, discover more, hear more stories? Extend your walk by an extra hour and experience what others miss!
Because there are regular stops for explanations, the distance remains limited. The average walking distance is approximately 3 kilometers in an hour and a half, making the walk manageable for everyone.
The walks take place in Brussels, a city with slopes and cobblestones. Korei Guided Tours cannot change this, but the guide can adjust the route if necessary. When booking, please let us know if there are people with limited mobility in the groups, and we will work with you to find a solution.
Brussels Environment, which manages most of the parks and green spaces in Brussels, closes certain areas such as the Jubelpark and the Warandepark in bad weather. In that case, the walk will be canceled due to circumstances beyond our control.
A restroom break along the way is possible in consultation with the guide, provided that the necessary infrastructure is available.
In consultation with the group, the guide will also wait with the explanation and wait with the group until everyone is back. The agreed end time will not be changed.
Interior visits
Specific rules apply to interior visits. Read them carefully and communicate them to the group.
Whether you are allowed to take photos depends on the specific location. At Villa Empain and the Buuren Museum and Gardens, this is not a problem. However, it is not permitted at La Nouvelle Maison. This is a private residence, and the owner expressly requests that the family's privacy be respected.
When in doubt, check the interior visit page or ask the guide if photography is permitted.
We ask that you treat other participants, the guide, and the environment with respect. Ensure that photography or filming does not disrupt the tour. Flash photography, tripods, drones, or other disruptive equipment are not permitted.
In case of no admission, the guide may terminate the tour if photos are taken anyway.
The availability of a toilet depends on the specific location. Please note that certain buildings were constructed as residences and therefore do not have extensive sanitary facilities.
You can find more information about this on the interior visits page.
Dogs are not permitted at most locations, with the exception of service dogs. If in doubt, please contact us.
Not all of them. You can find more information about this on the page for the respective tour.
Transportation
There are various ways to travel to and around Brussels. Find out more before you leave.
The Brussels Region has no fewer than 35 train stations, so there is a good chance that the train can take you close to the location of a tour. Please consult the NMBS website for more information.
If this is important to you, you can filter the listings on our overview page. Click on 'close to an NMBS station'.
We advise against driving to the center of Brussels during busy periods, such as around the holidays and on Saturdays. If you do decide to drive, please allow for extra travel time.
Parking is available in the city center in one of the many parking garages. Street parking is limited. More information about parking in Brussels.
The Brussels transport company MIVB manages the metro, tram, and bus networks. In most cases, a dense network will take you within walking distance of the location of a tour. To find your route, you can use Google or the MIVB website.
Payment is easy: simply hold your debit card in front of the blue readers. More information can be found here.
